Green Machine Smoothie w/ Kale, Avocado and Apples – Taste 'N' Dash

Can this smoothie be any greener?  Now the color may not look appealing but let me tell you… it tastes great and is super healthy for you.  

If you are wanting to start a detox diet this is a great addition to kick off the day or even as a mid day snack.  This smoothie is packed with super foods such as kale, avocado, apples, almonds, almond milk and dates.  Full of nutrients, vitamins, minerals, low in fat and overall satisfying.

Grab your ingredients:

2 handful of kale

1/2 avocado

1/2 apple

3 dates, pitted

1 to 1 1/2 cup almond milk

1/4 cup almonds

Add all ingredients into the blender.

 Make sure to remove the stems from the kale.  You only want the leafy green.

 I prefer a thick like milkshake consistency so I use about 1 cup of almond milk.  If you do not like a thick consistency then I would suggest 1 1/2 cup.

Blend for two minutes or until smooth.

Recipe makes two servings or one very large serving.
