Naughty Brownies – Taste 'N' Dash
It’s Naughty Brownie time… AKA slutty brownies! What do I mean?? It’s time to indulge my friends!
I found this little number over at The Londoner and had to re-create. It’s the perfect dessert for Valentine’s Day or just about any other day of the year.
This has got to be the easiest recipe out there. All you need is a box of brownie mix, a box of chocolate chip cookie mix and a package of oreos. Seriously!! That’s all you need. You do prepare the cookie dough and brownie batter according to the package so you will need eggs, butter and oil.
And since I was on this chocolate kick I decided to kick it up a notch and go one step further. Apparently the three main ingredients weren’t enough that I decided to add a layer of chocolate ganache. Holy yum!!
Lets get started shall we?!?!?
Feel free to use your homemade brownie and chocolate chip cookie recipe. This is just a time saver and so much more convenient.
Preheat oven to 350F and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
Prepare cookie batter according to the package.
Spread cookie dough batter in the baking pan making sure the batter is evenly spread out.
Next add a layer of as many oreo cookies on top of the cookie batter. Do not overlap.
Prepare brownie mix according to the package. Pour the brownie batter on top of the oreos and cookie dough and make sure it’s evenly spread out on top.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
While the brownie concoction is baking lets make the chocolate ganache.
Fill saucepan with an inch of water and bring it to a simmer over low heat. Set a bowl over it and add heavy whipping cream and chocolate chips. Allow the chocolate chips to melt and stir.
Remove from stove and continue to stir. Chocolate will be very shiny. Place to the side and the ganache will thicken as it cools.
Remove your naughty brownies from the oven and cool for 5 minutes.
Use a serrated knife to cut out your big brownie chunk.
Stack your little chocolate chunks…
It’s chocolate ganache time. Ready for this one?!?!? This just brings it to the next level.
Drizzle away…
Oh Geez….
I highly recommend to eat while still warm and the ganache is just oozing everywhere!! 🙂
Enjoy!
