Snack Attack Tuesday #2- Kale Chips w/Truffle Salt – Taste 'N' Dash
It’s that time again… snack attack Tuesday!!
Here is another healthy snack that you can enjoy anytime of the day. It’s healthy and satisfying without the guilt. Most chips are loaded with fat and high in calories but not these chips.
All you need is kale, a little olive oil and salt. I happened to have truffle salt (thanks to my girl D for the present) on hand so that is what I used but any other salt will do.
To start preheat oven to 350F.
I picked up a bag of kale that was already washed and ready to go. Spread across a baking sheet and drizzle about 2 to 3 tablespoons of olive oil and massage.
Next sprinkle the salt over the kale or any other seasoning that you might fancy.
Pop in the oven for about 12 to 15 minutes or until crisp.
Remove from oven and cool for 5 minutes. Transfer to a serving bowl. And to kick it up a notch you can drizzle a few drops of vinegar. Salt and Vinegar Kale Chips!! Yes, please!
